I'm Jenna - a wife, mom to 2 wild (and mostly filthy) boys and a family beach photographer. The Lord has truly blessed me with this job of serving families. I absolutely love what I do and take great pride in the tangible memories I get to provide my families. Don't worry about how your kids will act. Or your husband for that matter. My sessions are easy, fun and completely guided. I bring treats (dye free suckers) for your kids and act my SILLIEST to get the best smiles possible. Trust me. I've got you.

The Curtis family in @alysbeach 🏝️ If you’re staying in Alys, it’s a wonderful spot for an off beach session and allows for flexibility on time outside of sunrise and sunset. We typically start around where you’re staying and walk around to all the beloved spots!

This session was mainly photographing a milestone for baby Ainsley but we couldn’t resist some family portraits as well. Love this family and getting to photograph them throughout the years! This was a beautiful & sunny sunrise session. The sunrise and the clear turquoise water paired with their choice of clothing gave us the softest pastel colors! 🌸

Ten years behind the camera has taught me this: these seasons go fast. Whether it’s your babies toes in the sand, your daughter jumping for joy or a beach trip with everyone you love. Such special moments captured in the most beautiful place! 🏝️🤍

Blue & white is always a winner for beach portraits 🤍 These tones reflect light beautifully, flatter every skin tone and photograph clean. I always encourage my clients to think about their home when choosing outfits. Neutral, coastal colors blend effortlessly into wall art so your photos feel timeless and classic instead of trendy!

Reflecting on summertime and the warm sun on my skin 🏝️ Mainly because I just opened up my weather app and the forecast is showing possible snow on Sunday in the panhandle 🥶

Along with my beach sessions I also offer the Off-Beach Deluxe. This is a 30 minute session, catered towards families with young kids - sunset on the beach is a bit late in the summertime, so for kids with early bedtimes this works out great! We do these around 4 to 5 PM (before the witching hour…. IYKYK 😂) around the beach town you’re staying in or I have a few public spots in the area that I can recommend. Loved photographing this family again in Watercolor!

Then it’s often a first 48 in the hospital or a newborn session at home a few weeks later, then 6 month and 12 month portraits of the new baby. HAVE FUN. Yallllll!!! You’re on the beach! Look at this beautiful view! Be joyful, love each other, enjoy a sunset with your family. Don’t try to nag them into smiling. Spoiler: It never works! Tickle your kids. Have fun with them and play games. Be joyful yourself because it radiates and they will feel that energy from you. The most stunning photos I take are of families who are truly having a good time. Don’t worry about your kids smiling or listening. Most don’t. And that’s OKAY! The moments in between are beautiful memories as well. I am here to bribe, sing, dance and be silly. I truly love it and it’s what I am good at. The most helpful thing is for parents to just enjoy your children and love them. The smiles will follow 💕

I was walking out the door for a wedding this afternoon and thought it was the perfect time for an impromptu photoshoot with my boys. Actually, I thought it’s now or never because I was in real clothes 😆 Fishers outfit was dirty so we ditched it. Forrest had popsicle on his shirt, it was a million degrees and couldn’t be more humid. But you know what? I couldn’t care less. Love these sweet boys and so thankful I get to raise and spend my days with them. Imperfectly perfect is the way �🩶🩶🩶
